Wyoming Dinosaur Discovery
Bone Cabin Quarry has been a world renowned dinosaur fossil site since it was first discovered in 1897 by the American Museum of Natural History.
Wyoming Dinosaur Discovery (WDD) Founders Thomas Lindgren and Jeffrie Parker reopened Bone Cabin Quarry in 2020, turning it into a premier operation with both state-of-the-art technology and exceptional field techniques informed by over 80 years of combined experience.
With a “land-to-lab” approach, WDD maintains strict standards governing everything from meticulous fossil removal from the ground, careful transport to the lab, professional preparation of each specimen, and, finally, expert custom mounting.
Every step ensures that the structural integrity and provenance of each and every bone excavated from Bone Cabin Quarry remains intact.
A few examples of the many dinosaur genera found at Bone Cabin Quarry include Stegosaurus,
Apatosaurus, Barosaurus, and Goniopholis.
